About our watches

Every watch on mxwatches.co.uk is 100% authentic, brand-new, sealed in its original manufacturer packaging. We source directly from authorised wholesalers in Hong Kong, which is why we can pass on prices significantly below UK high-street retail. We’d rather you know exactly what you’re buying before you click checkout than feel surprised afterwards — so the next bit matters.

Branded watches are parallel-imported (grey-market) goods

Our branded watches — Tissot, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Fossil, Michael Kors, Guess, Diesel, Maserati, Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Movado, Bulova, Ferragamo, Seiko, Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, and others — are genuine watches from the manufacturers’ authorised supply chain in Asia. They are not sourced through the manufacturers’ UK distributors.

What this means for you:

• Your watch does NOT come with the manufacturer’s UK warranty. The international warranty card in the box is generally not honoured by UK service centres (Tissot UK, Burberry UK, etc.) on grey-market pieces.
• We provide our own 12-month MX Watches movement warranty in its place, covering manufacturing defects in the movement (the timekeeping mechanism) — both mechanical and quartz. We handle all warranty claims directly; you never need to deal with the manufacturer.
• Not covered: battery replacements (a normal service item), bezel scratches, strap wear, water damage, accidental damage, lost crowns/pins.
• Warranty starts on the date your order ships and lasts 12 months.

How to make a warranty claim

1. Email hello@mxwatches.co.uk with your order number and a short description of the fault (a photo or short video of the issue is ideal).
2. We’ll email you a freepost return label within 2 working days.
3. We inspect the watch within 7 working days of receiving it. You’ll get either a repair, an identical replacement, or a full refund at our choice — whatever’s fastest in your case.

Our in-house Mythos collection is different

Our own-brand Mythos line (Ares, Poseidon, Hades) is not grey-market — it’s our own brand, and it carries our standard 24-month full warranty: movement, case, and bracelet. The disclosure above applies only to the branded watches resold from our supplier.

If grey-market sourcing isn’t right for you

That’s a completely fair call. You have two good options: pick a Mythos piece (full 24-month warranty, designed by us, made for us), or buy from a manufacturer-authorised UK dealer at the high-street price. We’d genuinely rather you make the right decision for you than have a complaint later.

Your statutory rights are not affected

Nothing on this page reduces your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the watch is faulty on arrival you have a 30-day right to reject for a full refund (see Returns Policy).
